🌿 About Us
The Leona and Kostina Foundation was created from a shared mission to support dignity, health, and empowerment for young girls in Liberia.
Our journey began when my mother Leona moved back to Liberia and witnessed a clear and urgent need for basic feminine care products. Many young girls lacked access to essential hygiene items, which impacted their comfort, confidence, and daily lives. Moved by what she saw, she began small, personally supplying girls in her neighborhood with feminine care items to help meet this need.
When she shared this with me, I knew I had to take action. Together, we expanded her efforts into a formal foundation with a shared vision: to ensure girls have consistent access to essential hygiene supplies.
Today, we package and send care pouches twice a year to Liberia, filled with essential feminine hygiene and personal care items. These pouches are distributed to young girls in need, helping them feel supported, confident, and cared for.

Our Mission
The Leona & Kostina Foundation believes that no girl should miss school, feel embarrassed, or go without the essentials she needs to thrive. Through Pouches of Care, we are building a program to assemble and send personal care kits, filled with pads, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, and lotion, to girls across Liberia.
When a girl has what she needs to care for herself, she stands taller, stays in school, and dares to dream bigger.

How It Works
Every step is handled with care, from your purchase to a girl's hands in Liberia.
Shop our Amazon storefront, every item goes straight into a girl's pouch.
Our volunteers hand-pack each pouch with all six essentials, wrapped with care.
Pouches will be packed and shipped to Liberia, where they will go to one community location and be distributed to girls in need by our local coordinator on the ground.
A girl with her essentials can focus on what matters, learning, growing, and dreaming.
